Interfaith Dialogue through Textual Analysis
We are based in Manchester and were set up under the auspices of the Manchester Centre for Jewish Studies to encourage Interfaith Dialogue in both Manchester and the greater UK community through engagement with the holy texts of Muslims, Christians and Jews.
Scriptural Encounter has been producing Webinars, podcasts and Zoom Encounters that facilitate Interfaith Dialogue through scriptural analysis since 2020 on many topics including:
The Israel Palestine Conflict
Holy Places
The End of Days
Gender Diversity in Islam, Judaism and Christianity
Exclusivism and Supercessionism
The forum has invited scholars and religious leaders from the three Abrahamic faiths: Judaism, Islam and Christianity to teach about how their scriptures and traditions interface with the most contraversial and serious isssues of the day. The aim of this is to encourage positive dialogue between communities, ethnicities and faith groups.
